Terrell Scott
My Story
Terrell Scott’s life is a powerful testimony of transformation through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. A gifted athlete from a well-off family, Terrell excelled in football and wrestling, earning a college scholarship. But his drive to "always be the best" led him into the dangerous world of gangs and drugs. Tempted by money and power, he ended up with a 20-year prison sentence, going from the college campus to the harsh realities of prison life. Despite his circumstances, he continued running a gang and dealing drugs while incarcerated across several Georgia correctional facilities.

Then, a miracle occurred. Brandy, one of his former victims whom he had once partied with, came to visit him in prison. She shared her story of forgiveness and faith, revealing how she had overcome addiction and transformed her life through Christ. Deeply moved, Terrell surrendered his life to Jesus. Immersing himself in the Bible, he experienced a radical transformation, his mind renewed by God’s Word (Romans 12:2). Terrell began sharing his newfound faith with fellow inmates, and after only five years, he was released for good behavior—his life forever changed.
Terrell is a devoted husband to Brandy (whom he robbed at gunpoint) and father to five children. He is the Pastor of Passion-Life Church, which he founded in 2013, and the Executive Director of The River Refuge International, Inc. (2016) and The Malachi Project. With a deep passion for fathering the next generation, Terrell is also committed to intercessory prayer and helping others. Anointed by God, he excels in launching ministries with order and structure. Through these initiatives and more, Terrell shares the Gospel, extending forgiveness, grace, and mercy to his community.
Terrell and Brandy are dedicated to providing both practical education and spiritual guidance to help adults and children rise above their circumstances through the Gospel. They actively support community initiatives like The Malachi Project After School Program, Christmas in the City, Back 2 School Bash, Homeless Care Kits, and Thanksgiving meals. Their inspiring testimony and ministry have been featured on CBN 700 Club, Fox 5 Atlanta, 93.3 JOYFM, News Nation, Chicago's Morning Answer, NTD New York, Life Today, and covered in the Epoch Times and Atlanta Journal Constitution, along with several local news outlets.
